Vishnu in ÂMariyadhai remake

Even before, the release of the Tamil film ÂMariyadhai starring Vijayakanth the remake rights has been sold for the Kannada. Dr. Vishnuvardhana is playing the father and son role of what Vijayakanth is doing in the original. Meera Jasmine and Ambika are in the Tamil version of director Vikraman.
H.A. Rehman has acquired the rights for Kannada and it is from the same director Vikraman he acquired ÂVanathaipola that became a huge hit as ÂYajamana in Kannada. Dr. Vishnuvardhana played father and son in ÂYajamana and he is repeating it in this remake bearing a different concept.
ÂMariyadhai is titled as ÂDodmanushya in Kannada and will be directed by S. Narayan. The combination of Dr. Vishnuvardhana and S. Narayan has worked wonders in number of films in the past like ÂSimhadriya SimhaÂ, ÂSuryavamshaÂ, ÂVarshaÂ, ÂSirivantha and ÂJamindarruÂ. In the same line, this family entertainer ÂDodmanushya is expected to reap success.
